The future of NZ's food safety system

Client: Ministry of Primary Industries

Worked with MPI to assess the fit for purpose nature of NZ's food safety system looking out the next ten years, following the Fonterra review into the botulism scare.  The review involved assessing likely opportunities and risks emerging in the food safety environment in NZ and internationally over the next ten years, the food safety system’s ability to adapt to those changes, and policy changes that would merit consideration by Government.
